wolf, who ? crow you

lone wolf, swords and dreams

weighted words,

a song of birds,

where do you flock ?

time forks, fated love.

bits of life sip in,

drunk on tea, smoking trees,

how much does it cost to be free ?

pluck the weeds, feel the breeze.

the poet found power in rhymes,

freedom of words, jumbled sense,

I broke the fence, money dreams, lexus and a benz,

I dream of a time wept, I tasted truth deep in the vents.

down I went,

deep in the pipes, draining and plumbing,

for remembrance, the war on memory, dancing,

false truths, curated cues, walls built to fool.

oh you,

I see, icy, the ship moves,

beyond the wall, lands of legends crawl,

I bring the good news, for truth, breath is your tool.

deepened roots,

memories of a time skewed,

tinted water, the sleep sooths,

the few who see through, wake in memory,

flooded with dreams, deep, I remember you in the words birds sing.
